JC-2050 Water-based Sealing Lacquer/Anti-Tarnish

About

     JC-2050 lacquer is used in the post-treatment for deposits with transparent or black passivation films such as Zn-Ni alloy plating, Ni-Cr plating, Gold imitation plating and Zn passivation. JC-2050 is a water-based solution, when immersing or spraying, the transparent organic protective film can enhance the corrosion resistance. For Zinc deposit, it can increase the salt spray test by at least 50 hours.

Make up of working solution

     The solid content of JC-2050 is 50% , a working solution is usually diluted by adding 4-8 unit’s (weight ratio) deionized water (the solid content will be 5%--10%). If the solution is cloudy, please fill in ammonia water to adjust the PH value in the range of 7.5-9.5 and make the solution clear.

Working condition

Immersing time                10—30 secs.

Immersing Temperature          10—30°C

Trickling time                  1—3 mins

Drying temperature              120°C

Drying time                    10—20 mins.

Maintenance of working solution

The consumption of solution is in proportion to the drag out. The solid content of JC-2050 in the working solution should be tested after a certain period, fill in the required JC-2050 basic solution to adjust.

Measuring of solid content: sample 4—5g, drying way: 120°C×30mins.

The drag in of acid shall be avoided as the acid could cause the cloudy of solution. Once it happens, please adjust by filling in ammonia water to regulate the PH value.

Notes

During the working process, the variation of solid content shall be monitored, if a “rainbow” appears on the lower part of work piece after immersing, it means the solid content is too high, then the required deionized water shall be added to dilute; if a “rainbow” appears on the upper part of work piece after immersing, it means the solid content is too low, add in required JC-2050 basic solution and re-immerse the work piece.

Packing and Storage

Packed in PE plastic drum and 25kg/drum

Stored in cool and dry place.
